Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but inside, with Pour House pub trivia? That is ALWAYS delightful!
The snow just continues to batter us (it’s coming down right now pretty heavily) but the action on Sunday was hot and heavy at both of our venues!
Fun facts of the night:
- Abraham Lincoln is the only president to hold a patent – for lifting boats over shoals, which never was created.
- Gymnophobia is the fear of nudity…I guess that’s where all the issues with changing in the gym come from, eh?
- Kegler is not the guy passed out next to the keg…but the one knocking down the stack of cans with a bowling ball!

Captain Bender’s – Sharpsburg, MD
Missing the snow storm by the skin of our teeth, we had an excellent game of trivia tonight at Captain Bender’s!
Filling out the top three spots in third was our resident team, Boh’s & Hoes.
In second, we had Fisted Sister getting full points on the final!
Our top team tonight in first place with a notably strategic wager was THE INNEBRIATI!!
Their choice of first category next week? FANTASTIC FOUR #5 (from the 1960s).

The Raw Bar – Frederick, MD
The impending weather may have kept some teams from making an appearance at the Raw Bar & Grill tonight, but many brave teams showed up to try and take home some valuable prizes!
In thirrd place tonight were the Wesley Crushers(I’ve missed you guys in the top 3 for a while!), dropping from 1st to 2nd after the final question tonight was Silent Titty, Deadly Bang(it was a back and forth war between them and tonight’s champions ALL NIGHT!) and sliding into 1st place tonight… it’s been a little while… Optimus Prime Rib!!
Nice job and welcome back to the winners circle! They chose “Forrest Gump” for next weeks first round category, so study hard and come visit me at the Raw Bar & Grill next Sunday for the BEST Pour House trivia game available!!(it’s true….)
