What do you get if you mix Johnny Carson, Johnny Rotten, Johnny Knoxville and Johnny Walker? Thursday night with Pour House Pub Trivia!
Pour House pub trivia’s Thursday night got EVEN bigger, with That Cuban Place joining the ranks of Thursday night madness! We have some famous Johnny’s, with Misters Rotten, Carson and Knoxville, but no love for Mr. Walker?
He probably feels a bit left out! Pour yourself a dram and check out the games!
Thanks again to everyone for making my first night of trivia at Bunkers in Leesburg a ton of fun, you folks are great!
Cake or Death was our winners tonight with Thundercats right behind them for second. Voodoo pulled out a correct final answer to secure a third place showing.
I’ll see you again next week, where our first category will be fictional films in Seinfeld.
Let me just start by saying THANK YOU to Just Good Enough for the USB Light! That was a game changing gift! I can now read the answers and see my computer keys and everything. And apparently, some good Karma was involved there! Read on. Tonight’s game was one of those pub trivia contests that should have been televised! It was a sick, sick game and a great finish! I even got to practice some of my NFL referee poses; although I was highly critiqued for those shenanigans 🙂 And let’s face it, any night I get to hear My Sharona and “nervous pudding” in the same hour, is a good night…(LQTM 😉
PROPS to our Top 3 trivia crews tonight! It was a tough game towards the end with a lot of close scores and one helluva final question about “The Sting,” that stung, fo sho! It put what I call the ole “snowglobe” effect on the leader board!
Awesome start to a fun Fall together my friends. Study up on some “80s Metal” for next Thursday’s game. ROCK! Have a great weekend and I will see you soon 🙂 dg
A great crowd was on hand at Quincy’s for Thursday night trivia mixed in with a little playoff baseball. One of our newest teams is showing that they will be a force to be reckoned with this season. Caged Wisdom (playing tonight as Menace to Sobriety) rolled through tonight’s game and had a slight lead through three rounds. But Blue Collar nailed a few bonuses on the homestretch, and managed to pull into a tie for the lead just before the final question. When both teams got the final, it was Menace to Sobriety who took down the win on the Mossoulini-themed tiebreaker. Blue Collar snagged second on the night, with Lowered Expectations taking third. Next week begins with a question on Billy Ocean! ~Matt
Another day, another brand new venue for Pour House Trivia! This time around, it was That Cuban Place with the good food and a good game. Taking an early lead was STDB who held strong throughout the entire game for the victory. In second place were The Know Nothings who were able to land a correct answer on the final. In third place was Reece’s Pieces who played well throughout. Well played everybody! STDB chose I Love Lucy as their category for next week, so it looks like we got some ‘splainin to do!
