First round of invited went out for Playoffs! Belles’ in Frederick, Md

Thanks again to all the fine teams at Belles for another fun night of PHT! Our first place team tonight got out in front early and never looked back, though it took a close tiebreak question to settle 2^nd and 3^rd. Remember we are handing out the invites next Saturday so make sure you attend. Here are the results of the game:

Pizza and Pretzel Creations in Hagerstown, Md

We had another busy Saturday night at Pretzel & Pizza Creations for trivia! Give Us Your Beer Money’s win streak has been going on longer than any team I have witnessed at ANY of the venues I’ve hosted since joining the Pour House family, but one of my regular teams from Frederick stopped by to visit and did what no one else has been able to do!! Finishing in 3rd was Backstreet Boys, 2nd place went to Danny Glover and finally ending an incredible win streak fo 1st was We’ve Embraced Our Mediocrity!! They decided to go with “The Vagina Monologues” for next weeks winners choice category, so study up and join us next Saturday for some fun at Pretzel & Pizza Creations!!   ~  Jon J

Cpt. Benders in Sharpsburg, Md

One more week without Tori, which means you got stuck with me Cpt. Benders! I know, I know- your lucky day 😉 We kept the game on point tonight as I had forgotten my power cord and so the laptop battery ruled the game. I promise a dance party next time, which may or may not be next Sunday…

Always a good time out in Sharpsburg, but throw in a new team and playoff invites- was particularly memorable 😉 I am sorry I didn’t bring frames for your invites, it’s been put in the suggestion box for next season.

Let’s talk about this game! Everyone was playing well but the true battle of the titans came down to Fisted Sister and Boh’s and Hoes- taking turns leading all night, I loved watching them watch each other to see if they got questions right. The rivalry is solid in this bar people! In the End it was Fubar in 3rd, Boh’s in 2nd while Fisted Sister rode out their small margin of error all the way to a successful finish. Nice pull! Excited to see you at pub crawl! Next week you will welcome Tori back (maybe) with  question about the Replacements. May or May not be a flash mob dance scene at Benders next week… ~Samantha

The Beacon in Frederick, Md

The final round of Sundays game at The Beacon really changed everything around! It seemed like every team in the top 5 either wagered big on a wrong answer or got their bonus question wrong, and there’s nothing more nerve racking than needing a tie breaker after the final question to see who will win 1st place!! After the smoke cleared, finishing in 3rd was Smarty Pants! Trying to win a second week in a row but ending in 2nd from the tie breaker was Cher’s Zombie Army!! They struggled through most Season 13, but finished it strong with a couple top 3 finishes and now their SECOND 1st place win this month, (nothing like heading into the playoffs HOT) The Witiots!!! They picked an interesting winners choice category for next week, “Triple 50/50: Pasta Noodle or Italian Artist?” So come test your team against some of the best next Sunday night at The Beacon!!  ~  Jon J
