The first Monday of Pour House’s 10th Season of live trivia!
Pour House pub trivia‘s Monday continued the first week of Season 10, and oh baby did we have it going on! We had FIVE, count ’em, FIVE games of live trivia for you to get down with, and what fun we had. Totally NOT TRUE facts of the night:
- Mexican Jumping Beans are neither Mexican, nor Jumping
- Matt Damon actually attends every Jimmy Kimmel taping to try to get onto the show
- KFC has made repeated attempts to purchase www.kofc.org just to cover their bases for typos!

Del Ray Pizza – Alexandria, VA
We kicked off Season 10 of PHT in stellar fashion at DRP here in Alexandria and as always the house was packed! High School Prom was our first place finishers on the inaugural night, with Defenders of the Constitution taking 2nd, and Misfits finishing 3rd. Our first category for next week’s game is World Capitals. ~ Ronnie

We kicked off Season 10 of pub trivia with a bang tonight at the Roast House! Packed with veteran teams looking to start the season off right, things got crazy right from the get-go when my parents walked in, much to Multiple Scorgasms fiendish glee. Let’s just say it was a long night… Highlights of the Night: There was no hiding from it; with Horseshoes and Hand Grenades in the house, they heckling was hitting from all sides. You guys are gonna give me a complex, I swear! I Just Quizzed in My Pants continued her reign of terror as a solo, staying firmly in the scoring positions all game! Would she make it back to back victories to start the season? It took pulling up the internet and searching for pics to confirm that number 10 on the Puzzle Page was in fact Pamela Anderson, lest my teams rise up in anger! Guys, I don’t write ’em, I just host! With a doozy of a final, the podium shifted one final time when all answers were in, and it looked like this: In third place, making a nice little leap to the podium with a correct answer, came Spring Break Frederick! Good game guys, nice job! In second place, holding strong all night was I Just Quizzed in My Pants! She’s a strong contender folks; way to go QP! Holding the top spot all night though, and using the ammunition my parents gave them to heckle me all night, came Multiple Scorgasms! Congrats on taking the first win of Season 10 guys, great game! Multiple Scorgasms has chosen Canadian Provinces and Territories as it’s first round category for next week, so pull out a map and get studying! Until then, Ian
Season X is off and running at Spider Kelly’s in Clarendon, and it was a fantastic finish, as Liquor? I Hardly Know Her! jumped three spots on the final question to take home the win! Nice work for a duo! I am certain they are huge fans of “Dukes of Hazzard”! After leading all night, but Magic Grits had to settle for second, with the Rocket Surgeons in third. Next week starts with a question on the “National Lampoon’s Vacation” Franchise! ~ Matt
