Man, oh man, what a Tuesday night round of Pour House pub trivia!

Look, normally I google our set, post some funny photos or videos, but guys and gals? Please don’t google 50 Shades of Gray and Harry Potter in the same sentence. It’s…It’s a little scary what you can find. *Shudders*

It seems like every week we find a new Last Words, First Words that becomes my favorite: This week, Children of the Corn Dog! OUTLANDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

We also discussed a legendary piece of dumb cinema, VICTORY! Where else can you find Sly Stallone, Michael Caine AND Pele?!

Champion Billiards – Frederick, MD

A tie! A mother lovin, Woodrow Wilson tie… Champions was a tight round of pub quiz tonight and we got to watch the difference a single player can make as Doomed gained a team member in the 3rd round and just started to sail up the standings.

They managed to claw their way to the top of the heap tonight and came out with a win! Falling to second after the tiebreaker were the Thundercats and 3rd went to the team who had led all night but fell at the final- Wiseacres.

Fun game to watch tonight, thanks all. I will see you next week when we start with the history of fiber optics… That sounds… stimulating?

Cugini’s Restaurant – Poolesville, MD

Beautiful night for some bar trivia here at Cugini’s Restaurant in Poolesville, here is how the game went down!

The Murphs pulled it out after a devastating first half and took 1st place! Belligerent Midgets also had a rough first half and managed to secure 2nd, and MoMo was our 3rd place finishers tonight.

Our first category for next week is the “History of Poolesville.“

Hollywood Casino – Perryville, MD

Freedom dominated tonight’s round of live trivia, holding down 1st place through out the entire game! 2nd place went to Pinky and the Brain, and we had The BES pull out the 3rd place finish. Playoffs are coming up FAST so be sure to come out next week and practice up before the tournament! Thanks guys!

Jekyll & Hyde Tavern – Frederick, MD

We had a crazy night of Pour House Pub Trivia at Jekyll & Hyde tonight, with 11 teams duking it out for the top slot!

After some ups and downs, plenty of two-point bonuses, and several rounds of chemically mind-altering beverages, our victors took home gold by a single point!

Great game to all 11 teams tonight, but a big congratulations to our top 3. Dalek Dance Party nailed the final and squeaked into third place! Great work ladies!

Second place went to Brownie Points, staying alive with some strategic wagering, and first place, by ONE (1) SINGLE POINT was We Made a Huge Mistake! Awesome work guys!

They’ve chosen to go with their namesake, and have Arrested Development be our first category for next week!

So go hang with the Bluth family on Netflix, and we’ll see you next week for some more Pour House Bar Trivia!

Monkey La La – Frederick, MD

Stink Floyd went wire to wire at the La La pub quiz this evening – grabbed it and ran like they got hold of a juicy steak at the Piggly Wiggly.

And they were in tough company – lotsa crafty trivia teams right on their tail the whole game. 2nd Place was decided by a 3 way Pele tie-breaker!!

And it went to Master Debaters by 1 year over Flip Flop (and honorable mention to Spoony Richards who were in the tie breaker as well).
