Pour House pub trivia‘s Wednesday eased you into Turkey day – GOBBLE, GOBBLE! We hope it was full of joy, good times and delicious food.

Belles’ Sports Bar – Frederick, MD

Happy Drunksgiving from Belles! I was pleasantly surprised to see some familiar faces in Belles tonight who I have only seen in here for the theme games or pub crawls! Was a blast playing the who’s going to be next team to walk in the door game. Thanks for hanging out with me pre-drinking or pre-cooking- depending on where you are on the responsibilities bracket 😉

We had some good competition in here tonight, but it was a rough 3rd round for just about everyone! I think your minds were on tomorrow’s eating and not tonight’s questions…. After some tough questions this week I am guessing you all will be eating pop tarts while listening to big time rush with Mystic River playing in the backgound. Damn you poptarts!
In 3rd tonight it was an A team tiebreaker between Wednesday and Col. Angus with the Col and his clitoriti coming up with the 3rd place spot. 2nd went to the John Lithgow Fan Club who played a hellva game but got tripped up on an affordable pastry! 1st went to Flight Level Awesome, who not only came up with the correct answer by using a Howard Stern flashback but used rock paper scissors to pick an answer. What the hell are the odds of that?! Nice job Antonio! Not to mention, we had Krispy Kreme Donuts tonight! Getting an early start on the eating. I will see you next week when we get in the holiday spirit with Apocalypse Now. Have a very happy and tasty Thanksgiving!

Hard Times Cafe – Arlington, VA

We welcomed some new teams to Hard Times Cafe in Clarendon on Wednesday night, and it was one of those new teams that led the way over our regulars. Team Pizza played a great game (avoiding the dreaded ‘Dubai trap’), and was one of just two teams to pick up the correct response on the final for the win. Alice Alice extended their lead in overall standings with a a second place finish, while Jimmy’s in Vegas took third. Next week, we’ll begin with an audio question on College Fight Songs! ~ Matt

The Overwood – Alexandria, VA

Any trivia on Drinksgiving is bound to come with a few surprises, and the game at Overwood was no exception! A venue-high number of teams came out, working up their appetite for turkey with some tasty trivia tidbits.

Teams learned all about BTR, HGH, and even a little GnR. Along the way we had plenty of Turkey Day Trivia, as the game made its way towards the conclusion.

Thanks to some strategic betting on the final, Anne’s Birthday Gun edged out the competition, making this win a THREEPEAT! Can they extend this run even further? They’ve gone back to their wheelhouse with a second Horse Racing first category, so best of luck to them!

Taking second was a travelling veteran team from Fish Market, Oscar’s Lethal Kiss, and in third was Trump’s Toupee. See everyone back hefe next week!
