Thank God I’m a Trivia Host! Pour House Pub Trivia Monday Roundup!
Pour House pub trivia‘s Monday night brought you four games of live trivia action!
The rain might have scared some people, but it DOESN’T SCARE POUR HOUSE TRIVIA! (Seriously though, hope everyone is OK out there!)
Our games covered some frightening diseases, John Denver tunes and somo 80s nostalgia action with Bill and Ted!

Thanks again to everyone for coming out to DRP on this fine Monday eve for another edition of live trivia!
Rubber Sheets Club battled back with an exceptional second half to take down the win, with Del Ray Dummies holding on from a couple of “misfires” to take second.
The Misfits gathered a few new team members, and it showed with a fine third place finish.
See y’all next week for our first category, Computer Science.

Greene Turtle – Hagerstown, MD
The rain nearly washed me off the road on my way up to lovely Hagerstown for live trivia action tonight, but I made it in one piece!
We had fun, including the addition of some raucuous little ones, who even helped us announce a few answers tonight! Thanks again to them for NOT getting too excited and yelling prematurely! Well done, kiddos.
You guys rewarded me with a slew of great wrong answers tonight!
Here’s a few favorites:
The name of that Mario Brothers Baddie?
Tippy Turtle! (not quite)
Tyler Durden (complete with drawing of tiny turtle telling you “Don’t talk about fight club!”
The Presidential Film character crossover? John Addams Family!
Our pop culture musician? Sergei Rachmaninoff!
Our first category is Friends!

Roast House Pub – Frederick, MD
It’s always wild and wonderful at the Roast House on Monday nights, even when it rains a bit. Tonight we had a healthy mix of regulars, travellers, and new teams all vying for the top spot in what was a VERY close game of live trivia. We had a number of lead changes over the night; at halftime we had six teams all within six points of one another!
Last week’s winner’s BTI came in cocky, and like Babe Ruth pointing the bat, preemptively gave me a bonus category for next week! The audacity! I love it! But did they make good on it? We’d soon see.
Four rounds of trivia later, the teams had fought tooth and nail for position. When the dust did settle, among the epic guitar solo from Freebird, to which I may or may not have been air guitaring, we did have winner.
Until then,
