Pour House pub trivia sometimes brings you pet health and grooming tips, which you might not expect from us!
Some suggestions that are equally useless to wash your dog in to remove skunky smells! Though this one sure looks cute enjoying the tomato juice cleanse!
- Almond Milk
- Cranberry Juice
- Apple Juice
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Bacon Grease (although, to be fair, it might cover the skunk smell!)\

Another packed house at Atlantic Grille in Urbana for pub quiz tonight!!
More teams, more laughs, more wine!
Baby Got Pratt returned to us after a long absence and reminded us why they were last season’s house champions!
They walked off with the top spot pushing current house champs Strangers Have the Best Candy into second with Momzilla finishing an impressive third!
Try not to overload on cuteness – next week’s winners’ choice category is Beagles (SQUEE! I love puppies! :-P) See ya next week!

Yes my friends at Barefoot Bernies have now been made aware of my childhood crush that I had on my 3rd grade music teacher, Ms. Mott. All I wanted to do was play Daddy Warbucks in the 3rd grade production of Little Orpah Annie, and Ms. Mott made me sing “Maybe” a’capella for my audition. I was nervous and confused by my 3rd grade crush, all the people were watching me, and that she made me sing a “girl’s” song for my audition! This collection of variables was too much for 8 year old Denny and led to one of the epic failures on my theatrical resume’ – but…the incident helped me get ovr Ms. Mott, fo sho! 🙂
Great times last night at Bernies everyone! Thanks for coming out to play! I did have my camera to take my nifty pub quiz leader board photos…BUT…the battery died :/ No less…our winners were:

3rd: Thinkers and Dreamers
Good luck to all of my Bernies team this weekend at Pub Crawl – this will be a fun day of bar trivia at its finest! Bring home that $$$! I will see you next Wednesday. Our 1st question that night will be “NFL Players and Their Alma Maters.”

Big crowd tonight at Bennigan’s for live trivia, as always.
Double Blended took down the win tonight (formerly The 4th Spy).
Second place went to Hot Dog Stigmata and third place went to a come-from-behind snipe by the Trivial Pursuers!

Fast Eddie’s – Fairfax, Virginia
It was a dry night in more ways than one here at Fast Eddies. With the regular season over, the round of bar trivia got a little silly (and then heated) as the three-peat team Movin on Up decided to split into two smaller teams for a little Men vs Women action. And boy did it get spicy in here! Claws came out, words were hurled, and poor team Mess and Jegg got stuck between the clashing teams! It was wild!
Things I learned:
Old Wives Tale is NOT a good category during a battle of the sexes involving married couples!
Be SURE you spelled embarrassment correctly before trash talking another team about it, unless you like having egg on your face!
Jazz hands during a battle of the sexes WILL earn you ridicule!
After the final category, the battle of the sexes was decided though; the night went down like this:
In third place, holding strong all night was Mess and Jegg! Good game guys!
In second place, the men of Movin on Up under the team name Just the Tip! It was a good game gentlemen, well played.
But the ladies of Movin on Up took it down, under the seemingly prophetic The Better Half! Great game ladies, way to go!
The Better Half has chosen the Julia Roberts classic Pretty Woman as their first round category, so break out the popcorn and get watching!

The Olney Tavern – Olney, MD
We didn’t have too many silly answers on our round of pub trivia on this first not-rainy Wednesday in quite some time!
My favorite wrong answer came late in the game: The name of George Lopez’ new show is NOT called Georgie Does Dallas! Not bad, though!
Our first category next week is Seinfeld!
Valley Grill – Middletown, MD
Another great night of bar trivia at the Valley Grill Sports Bar in Middletown, here is how the game went down!
Southpaw Fish was our first place finishers, with Buns of Anarchy taking second after a tiebreaker!
Dufregne Party of Four finished in third.
