Packed houses for trivia and football Sunday night! The two games marry splendidly!

Captain Benders and Raw Bar were the host bars this fine Sunday for some NFL Playoff action as well as two great games of Pour House Trivia. Football and trivia definitely mix well…like a good Mai Tai

Hot off the playoffs we had an awesome game at Captain Bender’s!  Jumping into the leader board ranks – and being the only team to get the final question correct –  was Boh’s & Hoes. In second was the devoted Erin Go Braghless with strategic wagers and fine tune requests! In the top spot was a ferocious Gary Effin’ Cooper, who I heard played some great games at yesterdays Playoffs and Pub Trivia Crawl Season 8.Their choice of first category? STEVEN SEAGAL MOVIES. Dont forget we have the World Series this coming Saturday, Jan. 25 ~Torie

Raw Bar – Frederick, MD

It was another packed house at the Raw Bar & Grill in Frederick, MD for trivia tonight! Many thanks to all the teams who came out for a little practice before this Saturday’s World Series of Trivia!! The scoreboard pretty much stayed the same all night… and then round 4 happened. EVERYTHING switched around…. and then the final question happened. And EVERYTHING switched differently!! It was NUTS( or “the nuts” from ques 3 of round 4!)! At the end, it was the Vitrifiers who pulled into 3rd, the newly named Booze Travelers(formally S.T.D.B.) in 2nd, and coming back at the end to win a THIRD week in a row…  and gaining some serious momentum for the World Series, The Witiots!! They chose “Presidential Elections” for next weeks first round category, so study up, because that will be the official opening day of Season 9!!! Good luck to all my Raw Bar teams that are in the World Series (let’s bring that trophy to Bentz St Baby!) and I’ll see everyone back here next Sunday night for the start of the new season!!    ~ Jon J
