Captain Bender’s – Sharpsburg, MD
We had a wonderful and quiet Mother’s Day game at Captain Bender’s in Sharpsburg!
In a race to the finish line, Boh’s & Hoes came in third place! In second, the debut of Fisted Brother!!! And yet… Fisted Sister could not be dethroned!! They took home the first place spot and bragging rights to write Mom about!
Their choice of first category?? Deadwood!

Avery’s Maryland Grille – Frederick, MD
I would be lying if I said most everyone that came in to play pub trivia tonight at Avery’s Maryland Grill was NOT distracted because of the Caps game(myself included)!
The live trivia is over, but we’re still here watching – LET’S GO CAPS!!! But even in the Capitals poor game 6 performance, we managed to squeeze in a JUST as exciting Pour House game!!
Finishing 3rd tonight (with a FUNNY story to tell along with it) was the Ollie Monsters! Moving up from 4th to 2nd place after the final question was the ALWAYS tough Vitrifiers!! Taking the lead after round 2 and NEVER looking back for their second 1st place finish in a row was the Witiots!!! I’m a HUGE fan of their choice for next Sunday’s winners choice question, Looney Tunes, sounds great to me!!!
Now I have to go and be depressed, as the Caps have, while I was typing this, lost their second game in a row and now must go back to New York for game 7. AAARRRGGGHH!!!!
See everyone next Sunday night! unless, of course, the Capitals lose game 7 of the eastern semi-finals after holding a 3-1 advantage and I go CRAZY!! (although I feel like I wouldn’t be the only one…)
