Last Weekend before Post Season!

The invites are out! Play offs are set in stone, sharpied in even and we don’t have to worry about snow taking this round away from us! Take a gander at how the last weekend before post season went down.

Belles’ in Frederick, Md

Was fun to fill in for Ronnie at Belles tonight, I always love to hang out with the Saturday night crew! You never disappoint with a good game, and tonight we had a battle going on for House Champs! It was Wiser but still dead and Uncle Jack who have both had a hellva Season 13, putting up some giant numbers throughout the season. With both teams in contention- the entire season came down to just one question! It doesn’t get much closer than that!

Wiser but still dead were missing some of their players, and in this tight of a situation there was no room for anything less than your best! Once the final was answered it was Uncle Jack who would emerge victorious as house champs! However they didn’t win tonight’s battle as they played it conservative and fell to Beast of Bourbon!  rounding out our top 3 it was Blind squirrels with Machine Guns. Nice game all! The next time you all meet the first category will be the orioles. ~Samantha

Pizza and Pretzel Creations in Hagerstown, Md

A fun night (and yummy food!) here at Pretzel and Pizza Creations in Hagerstown. We had a great game, with two teams battling it out to see who would take house champion. It went down to the last question but Danny Glover came from behind and took it!

Cpt. Benders in Sharpsburg, Md

 It was great to be back at Captain Bender’s for our Memorial Day Weekend edition of Pour House Trivia! The house was packed with our devoted regulars shoulder to shoulder with some newcomers vying for a prize. We whistled our way through the first half, and up until the halftime puzzle page– it was anyone’s game. Fubar DOMINATED at the halftime, setting the pace for the second half. Rice Rice Baby and Boh’s and Hoes were neck and neck trying to catch up to Fubar, and in the end, it all came down to the final wagers. Taking home the third place prize was Boh’s & Hoes, following close behind Rice Rice Baby who stole second place! Up top claiming their bragging rights and a sweet prize was the ferocious Fubar! their choice of first category next week? JEWISH HOLIDAYS! See you next Sunday, kids! – Torie

The Beacon in Frederick, Md

We had a few visiting teams for our Sunday game at The Beacon! It always seems to make the game more exciting and the outcome more unexpected! After the final question jumbled the top 3 teams one last time, this is how it ended… In 3rd we had Vitrifiers, dropping to 2nd was the Witiots, and moving into 1st after the final question was also our season 13 house champion, Smarty Pants!! Next weeks winners choice will be “Beer”, so study up with a drink and I’ll see you next Sunday at The Beacon!!   ~  Jon J
