Captain Bender’s – Sharpsburg, MD
Fast and furious is the name of the game at Captain Bender’s. Tonight’s game brought together our regulars for a night of fun, forever family-style live trivia.
We started off right tonight with The Dirty Dozen and wrapped things up with a twist on American Businessmen. What seemed like a regular game turned out to be a stunning upset on the scoreboard in the end: We had At Least We Tried take home the third place prize, following on the heels of Fisted Sister who were unceremoniously dethroned by the dynamic duo, Rice Rice Baby! Man, was that a close game, too!
I know you guys will be bringing it that much harder next weekend, so study up on our first category of: Maryland Streams & Rivers! See you next Sunday!

Orioles’ Nest #331 – Frederick, MD
What a great game we had tonight at Orioles Nest #331 – between halftime and the end of round 4 we had 3 different lead changes!
The final question’s answer and how teams decided to wager on it, could’ve flip flopped any of the top 5 teams in another order for our top 3 spots! But moving into 3rd after round 3 and never letting go was Ollie Monsters!! Having an up and down kinda game tonight but still pulling 2nd was Smarty Pants!! And our 1st place finisher tonight is no stranger to the golden throne, great second half comeback to the Withoits!!!
I can’t tell you about their winner’s choice pick, because the first rule of winner’s choice is you DO NOT talk about winner’s choice. 2nd rule of winner’s choice is YOU DO NOT TALK about winner’s choice!! (Get it?! “Fight Club“) I hope I’ll see everyone back next Sunday at the Orioles Nest!!
