Last weekend’s games of Pour House Trivia welcomed 77 teams across six venues.

FIRST HALF:

Sexual Chocolate (Belles’) and Win or Booze (Mason Social) posted the only perfect scores of the first round last weekend, while six teams replicated that feat in the second stanza.   These were your highest scoring weekend teams at the halftime break:

SECOND HALF:

None of our teams managed to post a perfect score in their third round last weekend, thanks in part to the most difficult wagering question of the weekend:

  • Which 1990 action sequel did not feature any Austrian-born performers, but its cast did include Danny Glover, Gary Busey, and seven-foot-two-inch Kevin Peter Hall, who once again played the title character?

The first sentence referenced the fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger did not appear in the sequel film Predator 2.  On Saturday, the Off Beats (Pretzel and Pizza) were the only team to earn a perfect score in last weekend’s final round.  After four rounds of play, the overall weekend leaderboard included these teams:

FRIDAY’S FINAL QUESTION (73.4% success rate):

  • Which 19th century novel begins in the fictional Mississippi River town of St. Petersburg and conclude 1,100 miles away in Pikesville?

SATURDAY’S FINAL QUESTION (16.7% success rate):

  • Despite not having released any new material since 2009, which solo artist charted three albums  simultaneously in the top ten of the Billboard 200 chart in February of 2012?

SUNDAY’S FINAL QUESTION (80.0% success rate):

  • Which band is named for a term used by Allied aircraft pilots to describe UFOs seen in the skies during World War II?

The correct answers to these final questions were the The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Whitney Houston, and Foo Fighters.  None of our weekend teams posted a Perfect 21 by answering all 21 wagering questions correctlyHere is your final weekend leaderboard:
