Main Street Oyster House -Bel Air, MD

We started the new year with a great turnout, with several new teams in the mix!

The new teams struggled a little to put up solid scores, but they all hung in until the bitter end, and one of the new teams, the A**holes, managed to take second place. sandwiched between two veteran teams: Clever Team Name who was first, and team 9 years, who took third.

Tonight’s final question illustrates why its important to pay attention to all of the info in a question. It mentioned the year 1986, and Ronald Regan. Those two parts of the question would have made it easier to guess at the answer. While its true that sometimes that extra info is just added for fun, sometimes it can be a vital clue!

Also, our winner “Clever Team Name” is an NHL expert. He wanted to choose NHL hockey for the winner’s choice, but that what he’s chosen a few times in the past, so I vetoed it! He chose “The Winter Classic” instead. I feel like he just got one over on me….

Happy New Year from Main Street!
