Pour House pub trivia held a trio of games this weekend, getting in a little Disney and a bit of ice cream, among so much more!

I think this is the first time I have seen people unhappy with a Disney question! Stupid Disneyland!
Belles, thank you for accepting me in to your tender embrace, and thank you for not having a tie! Always fun to see what you all have up your sleeves, and it was particularly fun for me to see the youngest member of Smartie Pants racing all night trying to beat her time – So many Ready, Set, Gos! It must have worked as Smartie pants came in with a 3rd after a very tough final. 2nd went to the only team who got said final correct, Wiser but still Dead! 1st though was Uncle Jack with a very strategic wager!
Next week Ronnie will be back with a first question of Destiny, the video game. The modern one. 🙂

For National Ice Cream Day, our teams took shelter from the heat at Captain Bender’s to join us for a killer game of trivia!
We even had some old familiar faces in the house! Taking home the third place prize was our duo CROM’S 4 WINDS! In second, just barely missing out on the first place prize was FISTED SISTER!! But dethroning our team to beat by a single point after returning from hiatus was NEWMAN’s OWN!!
Their choice of first category for next week? DIE HARD QUOTES! See you next Sunday!

Oriole’s Nest #331 – Frederick, MD
Sunday night was another great night for trivia at the new digs of the Oriole’s Nest #331! There was a good team turnout and with that, there was a great fight for the top 3 spots! Finishing 3rd was the Vitrifiers! Ending up with 2nd was the Witiots!! Sunday’s 1st place winner had a well fought game and deserved their first Sunday night win, Whatever Happened To The Dufresne’s!!! With their first Sunday win, they went slightly obscure with the winners choice category for next week, “The Music Of Bruce Willis”! (It really was an actual thing he tried in the late 80’s) Good luck, get your study on, and come visit us for a game on Sunday at the Oriole’s nest # 331!!! ~ Jon J
