Champion Billiards – Frederick, MD

My good friends of Champion Billiards…what a game we had! Aesop’s Foibles played stellar through the 2nd half but it was Guatemala that got em. They took 3rd Place and then stuck around for the White Elephant gift exchange with us as well. Good hanging with ya Aesops! 2nd Place was a snipe from behind on the final…AS A DUO- it was Silent Titty Deadly Bang. Awesome work yall… And also a jump from behind win to In an Order that Would Surprise You. Way to stay within striking distance and then take it home on the final.

I wish all of you and your families a very Merry Christmas and I will see  you next Thursday to have a look at all of your new sweaters, and we will begin with a question in the category of Jewish Holidays – courtesy of In an Order that Would Surprise You πŸ™‚

Shooter McGees – Alexandria, Va

11 is a Prime Number came to play tonight and were firing on all cylinders for a very nice win tonight at Shooter McGees! Stop the Bus gave them a run but a few early misses were enough to hold them at 2nd. Give it up to a new team LNTRS, for their first top tier placing at 3rd. I wish you all a truly Happy Holidays, and see you next Thursday for our first category, the book Hunger Games: Catching Fire. ~ Ronnie

Bunkers – Leesburg, Va

O’ toilet brush, O’ toilet brush.. you are such an odd shade of green… Bunkers, you were in fine spirits even with a very rough 4th round- followed by an even harder final! Good thing I was in an adorable hat- made it easier to take πŸ˜‰ Stupid Babinski reflex… Once all the ornaments were thrown, it was Cake or Death who arose from the tangled christmas lights and took the win! Nice job ladies! Even with a non-english speaking member! 2nd went to the ever distingished gentlemen of Indians and in our 3rd wise men slot was Crainus Maximius! Heck of a holiday game! Have a fantastic holiday, and we will see you back in Leesburg the day after christmas and we will start with the fake movies of Seinfield. πŸ™‚ ~Samantha

Quincy’s – Gaithersburg, MD

Great game tonight at Quincy’s in Gaithersburg! Newcomers BSD held the lead for most of the game but they took 2nd when creative wagering landed Depends in the top spot with Sneaky Geckos finishing 3rd – a real nail-biter ’til the bitter end! No trivia next week so curl up with a cup of eggnog (look up how George Washington drank his ;-P ) and watch a few good Christmas movies! Just don’t shoot your eye out πŸ˜€ Quincys – thanks for making me feel welcome; Matt will be back with you on Jan 2 when the winners’ choice category will be Beatles Trivia!

Main St. Oyster House – Bel Air, MD

The energy was high tonight, maybe it was the oysters? Lots of new faces at main street oyster house as well – definitely the oysters :)–> and with two new teams in the top three! Balls So Hard University maintained their winning streak, can anyone unseat them? Well maybe Smokin Aces OR Team Elverias our second and third place teams? Time will tell. New Sheriff in town  better watch out Balls so Hard University. But in the mean time, everyone break out your grunge CDs to get set for next weeks category: 90s grunge music.………it smells like something, maybe teen spirit? Nah…its prolly the oysters πŸ™‚ MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE..Natalieoyster bar trivia night

Guidos Speakeasy – Frederick, MD

We had a truly awesome and awkwardly warm night of pre-holiday trivia at Guido’s Speakeasy tonight!!  The winner’s podium looked a little something like this: in third was the festive and dedicated TNC! In second, we had a Stink Floyd quartet killin’ it all night. In first were our top dogs, Col. Angus@clownpenis.fart. Their choice of first category for next week? CURLING IS AWESOME! (YES–WE WILL BE HAVING TRIVIA DEC. 26. SAME TIME, SAME PLACE!) ~Torie

Fish Market – Alexandria, Va

Super close game tonight at the Fish Market all the way up to the final round… A new team calling themselves Gone Squatchin’ was in the lead by a couple points going into the final round of play, followed closely behind by our reigning champs Put It on Seabass’ Tab. Seabass missed a crucial bonus chip on the final question of Round 4 and that sealed the runaway victory for Gone Squatchin’, being up 14 points going into the final question of the game. Being the only team to get the final answer correct, Oscar Meyer moved up a big 12 points to secure the 3rd place finish! Next week’s first category will be Triple 50/50 Edison or Tesla, courtesy of our 1st place team, Gone Squatchin’! Until next week πŸ˜‰
