Another fine game on the books here at Belles in Frederick! The final sank a few teams that were in the running, but a change in the final three is welcome from time to time to shake things up a bit. Here are the results:

Another game is in the books from Pretzel & Pizza Creations. What’s weird is that there were lots of people playing some new Pokemon G.P.S. app in Hagerstown. But I digress… Finishing in 3rd was Pokemon Masters, in 2nd we had In Last Place, and for another week in row, Danny Glover took 1st!! They picked “Ghostbusters” for next weeks winners choice category so study up, and join us for some fun next Saturday night at Pretzel & Pizza Creations!!! ~ Jon J
Happy to be back at Captain Bender’s for another edition of our Sunday night game. I may or may not have collected a bunch of Pokemon on my way there and back too, but I digress…
Round 1
We started off with our Winner’s Choice from last week, Rounders (the film) and wrapped it up with a little Call of the Wild Thing. You guys killed it with a nearly perfect round, except for that pesky fireman’s pole of course.
Round 2
You had to get a little physical for our audio question to start the round with a body-parts themed 3-parter, and finished it up with some slick dance moves. The scores were just as solid this round as the last, so I had to step it up for the halftime.
Halftime
We had a play on names for part one of the puzzle page, think zoological celebrities (Tiger Woods, Snoop Lion) and a SUPER part two with a little more wordplay. After grading, Fisted Sister was in the lead, followed by Rice Rice Baby in second and Boh’s & Hoes in third place.
Round 3
You guys had to think British to start this round, followed by a little Disney and some religion to finish things. Fisted Sister kept their lead and Rice Rice Baby was closing in on them.
Round 4
We kept the final round short and sweet starting with a little music and finishing up with some abbreviations. The standings stayed the same and the strategic wagers cam pouring in.
THE FINAL
Here’s where things got interesting. Between the strategic wagers and some underdogs besting our veterans, there was a STUNNING UPSET in the standings! Rice Rice Baby and Boh’s & Hoes were the only teams to answer our Quotes About People final, resulting in a FIRST PLACE win for Boh’s & Hoes, followed by Fisted Sister in SECOND PLACE and Rice Rice Baby taking home the THIRD PLACE PRIZE.
