Wow! 3 crazy pub trivia contests went down tonight, on this fine Christmas Eve Eve. 40 trivia teams in three bars across Maryland and Virginia came out for a little pre-holiday trivia contest. Twas the night before Christmas Eve and all through il Forno’s game of Pour House, 17 teams contested the prize, but only one pulled it out…
And that team was a NEW TEAM: Twigs and Berries! Great game you guys and gals; we hope to see you again soon. 2nd Place went to Fat Kids are Hard to Kidnap and 3rd was snatched up by Quick Pink and the Vine Gang. And shouts to Its Small but it Sure is Cute and Latrilla and the Mossy Banks for 4th and 5th shows!

DRP – Alexandria, Va.
Whew! The race for the “House Champion” at DRP is heating up and the leader board numbers are squeezing together awfully close! The next couple of weeks should really be interesting. Del Ray Dummies came through in the clutch and won our game tonight, and while being down a few members! MSC is always a tough team, and with a 2nd place finish tonight, they are out in front for House Champs at the moment. Finally, Elves on the Shelves rounded out the top tier for 3rd. Our first category for next week’s game is “classic mythology” so break out your Ancient Greek and/or Roman source materials. Have a very Happy Holiday! ~ Ronnie
Greene Turtle – Hagerstown, MD
Slapsgiving came out tonight for a fun night with the family, and apparently the family is pretty good at trivia. They were leading the whole time and, even after blowing a 4th round bonus chip, still maintained the lead going into the final. They finished the game with a correct final answer and took the WIN! 2nd place was the Smartini’s, 3rd place taken down by Cotton Candy. Slapsgiving let their kids choose our category for next week, so we start the game with Pokemon! Great game everybody, and thanks for coming out! Merry Christmas.
