Del Ray Pizza – Alexandria, VA

Boy, the awesome weather did not deter the live trivia players in Alexandria from descending upon DRP for some Monday night PHT, 15 teams!

It was Rubber Sheets Club that pulled a correct final and take down 1st, with JJT nailing that question as well to jump into 2nd. Our 3rd place finishers were Eric & the Pie Tasters.

Our first category for next week is Cryptography.

Greene Turtle – Hagerstown, MD

It was a raucous night of live trivia action up at The Greene Turtle!

The action was hot and heavy all night, with lots of lead changes, and teams sliding up and down the leaderboard.

But as always with Pour House Trivia, it can ALLLLLLLLLLLL change on that final question!

The question didn’t slow down our friends at Chances Aren’t, who took down the whole enchilada!

The Turtleheads were able to hang on for second!

Rounding out the top three were It’s Just Toothpaste!

Chances Aren’t like some pretty good tunes, and have chosen to kick it off with Bob Dylan Audio!

Roast House Pub – Frederick, MD

With brand new teams, travelling teams, and resident teams all in the mix all night, it was a close game of live trivia at the Roast House and came down to the final!

Highlights of the night:

The lawyer side of Dewey, Cheatum and Howe came out tonight; remind me never to mix up points for those guys again!

With the resident troublemakers away, School’s Out will play; you guys may not be as ruthless as a certain other rowdy team, but you definitely know how to have a good time!

I was astonished and impressed at the number of teams who were boned up on their CFL and their Curling; someone call ESPN 8: the Ocho!

We had a last minute shake up to what had been a pretty steady board; the final question made all the difference in a tough set.

In third place, after leading the whole night, Team Wednesday! Tough break guys but way to stay in the top three!

In second place, jumping up from near the bottom of the scoreboard with one of only 2 correct answers, came the boys of School’s Out! Good game guys, way to hang in there!

And after nipping at Team Wednesday’s heels all night, taking the top spot with a correct answer came the honorable law firm of Dewey, Cheatum, and Howe! Way to go guys, great game!

DCH has chosen Miss LeAnn Rimes as their first round category for next week! Get studying everyone, and we’ll see you next time!

Until then,

Ian
