Back to school is in the air and we had ourselves a quaint little game of PHT here at Belles in Frederick! Congrats to our first place team for being the ONLY team to answer the final correctly, jumping from 3^rd into 1^st. Here are the results:

Pizza and Pretzel Creations in Hagerstown, Md

The saying “All good things must come to an end” rang true on Saturday at Pretzel & Pizza Creations in Hagerstown. The Off Beats had an AMAZING run of wins in a row, (almost 2 months or so) but their reign as King of the Mountain has finally come to a close. They were actually leading for the entire first half but had a couple roadblocks in the second half that they never recovered from. After the final was answered this is how it looked… Making an impressive jump from 5th to 3rd was Backstreet Boys, moving from 4th to 2nd place was The 3 Musketteachers, and it’s been a long while, but Danny Glover has finally stepped back into the 1st place spotlight!! For next weeks winners choice the picked “Celebrity Baby Daddies”, so have a great week and come join us for a great time next Saturday night at Pretzel & Pizza Creations!!   ~  Jon J

Always a pleasure to be at Capt Benders for those small intimate games.It was a close game all night but Rice Rice baby took the lead in the last two rounds to seal the deal!

The Beacon in Frederick, Md

We had a birthday boy at our Sunday night game at The Beacon! A gentleman, scholar and all around great guy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM!! you turned what? 38?….   🙂  The team he plays for, The Witiots, have been killing it for the whole Summer Fling, but they started out a little slow this week. Fortunately for them, they just kept getting better and better after each round which is why our top 3 ended up looking like this… In 3rd place we had Cher’s Zombie Army, rolling the dice with a “zero” wager on the final question is always a gamble, but it worked well for the Maryland Olympian Fan Club and moved them up to 2nd! Maybe it was birthday karma, but rocking the second half to extend their win streak another week was the Witiots!! Their new Triple 50-50 pick for next weeks W.C. is “Triple 50-50: Failed Presidential Candidate or Charles Dickens Character”!
