Always fun to watch the Cowboys lose! Pour House Pub Trivia Monday Recap!
Pour House pub trivia‘s Monday night had four games of trivia on a night when the stars seemed to align for Washington, eh? Always fun to watch the Cowboys lose, ESPECIALLY on Monday night football! Check out the games!
Del Ray was off this week for football. Our first category for next week is Courtroom Terminology. ~ Ronnie
We had another exciting game of live trivia tonight at Green Turtle Hagerstown!! Taking home the third place prize tonight were the Thinkers & Dreamers!! In second place we had It’s Just Toothpaste!! Our top-prize winners tonight were the Smartinis!! Their choice of first category is Nursery Rhymes!! See you next Monday!! – Torie
Highlights of the Night:
While the honorable law firm of non-lawyers Dewey, Cheatum and Howe were absent tonight, that didn’t stop the battle for Supreme Dewey from continuing, as an overcrowded Dewey Decimators split off into Dewey Lewis and the News. Who would emerge as top Dewey?
With a poignant Redskins-Cowboys game playing on Monday Night Football, things certainly got a little heated as both games progressed! Such language used! Tsk tsk! 😉
Speaking of which, it seems odd that there would be penalties called Illegal Touching and Illegal Contact, that mean totally different things. But sadly that distinction cost some teams points. Would it be the difference maker?
In third place tonight, with a defensive wager, Better Late than Pregnant! Well done guys.
In second place, also wagering defensively, the Dewey Decimators! Congrats guys!
But taking it home tonight, on a 4 week win streak and the only team to get the correct answer on the Final, came Multiple Scorgasms! Great game everyone!
Multiple Scorgasms has chosen The Rugby World Cup as their first round category for next week. I didn’t even know there was such a thing, but there you go.
Good luck studying, and we’ll see you next week!
It looks like our ‘regular crew’ is starting to take shape at Spider Kelly’s, as we had several veteran teams on hand for Monday night trivia. Apparently, I am the only person in this country who did not know that they have sold updated versions of ‘The Oregon Trail’ in recent years, because the 6-4-2 question basically turned into a ‘6 question’. And I actually thought it was some obscure video game…
