Pour House pub trivia‘s Tuesday was full of live trivia at six wonderful venues!

We rocked! We rolled! We quizzed the heck out of you!

Champion Billiards – Frederick, MD

Holy tie night Batman! Multiple teams, multiple ties, the pack was tight tonight! Great game and lots of fun to watch- we battled it out all the way to the end with a tie for first and a tie to decide third.
 
After some pretty serious competition about Campbell’s worth it was Big Test Icicles who made a guest appearance tonight and took down the pack! That tough puzzle page was just a bump in the road for them.
 
2nd went to Mauled by Bears, and 3rd was Castaways who beat out Big money no Whammies (Yes big money, you didn’t suck tonight!) Nice job tonight all, remember to check the website for all of the information I couldn’t say over the mic 😉 I will see you next week for a first category of Speed Racer: The Cartoon.

Cugini’s Restaurant – Poolesville, MD

 It was an interesting game of live trivia tonight at Cugini’s, with many twists and turns, but it was Drunk n Disorderly’s night to shine as they never surrendered the lead all night for the win!
 
The Murph’s hunkered down late however, and made a game out of it taking 2nd, while MoMo and Neverlands had an Armageddon tie-breaker, with MoMo coming out on top for 3rd.
 
Our first category for next week is Tom Cruise movies!

Hollywood Casino – Perryville, MD

Tonight was a tough game of bar trivia at Hollywood, questions were hard but the teams were tougher!
 
Got Boxers came back for another trivia game, coming in 3rd place, If We Only Had a Brain almost took first place, but Pomeranians went with their gut on the final question and took it down!
 
Next week we will talk about Ungulates…yup that’s what I said. Get those Webster dictionaries out!

Jekyll & Hyde Tavern – Frederick, MD

We had a crazy night of live trivia here at Jekyll & Hyde tonight, expanding into other rooms to accommodate our teams! Awesome night, everyone! Everyone particularly enjoyed the ‘anus’ question!

Honorable mention to the Dewey Decimators, who placed in the top 3, but elected to play with an extra man in lieu of the prizes and glory.

Taking third place tonight were the Brownie Points, nailing the final.

Second place went to Beer is Good with some strategic wagering, and first place went to The Bob Thomas Experience!

Great game everyone! Next week’s first category is going to be Frederick MD History, so study up and we’ll see you next week!

Ramparts Tavern – Alexandria, VA

A very close game highlighted our evening at Ramparts on Tuesday.  The Hop Devils managed to pull away from the field in round three to position themselves well, but it was the Colonel’s Bucket Challenge that came through with 6 points on the 6-4-2, as well as a perfect fourth round, to take the lead into the final.  It was not to be on the final however, and it was Fat, Drunk, and Stupid that took down the win!  Great job!  Coming from back in the pack to take second was 50 Shades of Balls!  The Colonel’s Bucket Challenge hung on to third despite the final miss.  Next week will be our FINAL scoring week for the summer, so don’t miss it when we begin with a question on “Orphan Black”.  ~ Matt

Monkey La La – Frederick, MD

 How much fun can 50 adults have with Jiffy Pop, lice, and a bowl of spumoni? Well…that you will have to venture to :a La on Tuesday for trivia night, if you’d like to find out! I’ll give you a hint: craziness! Very fun night last at La La for some pub trivia. It was good to see some teams that we haven’t seen in a minute! 

Yo! Esophagus Now…handle yo bid-ness! Wire to wire win with a slam dunk on the final to boot! Rock and roll y’all…nice game!

Pecking at Esophagus all night was Silent Titty Deadly Bang, Jiffy Pop himself! The dynamic duo struck again and sniped a 2 spot and some duckets for their efforts! GG STDB!

And with a masterful wager and final question snipe, it was BATS who claimed the 3 Spot Tuesday! Awesome work Bats!
