Pour House pub trivia’s Thursday night is the perfect way to ramp up to the weekend, I think. We pack seven games with all the wild and wonderful trivia action you could ever need! Check those games out!
Bunkers – Leesburg, Virginia
These folks in Leesburg know how to have fun, and it was a great night of live trivia here at Bunker Sports Cafe! Your Mom was our winners in tonight’s very close game, with Cake or Death taking down 2nd. Cranius Maximus wagered strategically and solidified their place in 3rd. I’ll see you all again next week, where our first category will be an audio clue, 60’s British Invasion! ~ Ronnie
Champion Billiards – Frederick, MD
Ehh..E,T., Jurassic Park…same difference! Bada Boom! A great game of some pub trivia-licious went down at Champions on a moist Thursday, early fall evening! And in the wake of a tough Orioles loss, and E. bola touching down only a few miles away, we threw down and had some good fun for a few hours.
It was a grappling match the whole way – complete with some flips, twists and choke outs (ok, maybe no choke outs, but metaphorically maybe?). Oue winning 3 looked like this:
Just Good Enough was definitely GOOD ENOUGH – for the win!
We got the FUNK, as I call them, aka. FnQ, sniped a 2nd with some Dominican Republic action on the final!
And congrats to our first time team: “Where is Your Wife?” – Great game y’all!

Fish Market – Alexandria, Virginia
Tonight’s game of live trivia was completely and utterly dominated by You’re Killing Me Smalls. Leading the entire game by double digits and securing the victory even before we got into the final question! What a clinic! It’ll be hard to top that performance but hopefully we get you all to come out again and play trivia with us!! 2nd place went to Two Birds One Stone, who are looking to make a name for themselves! 3rd place went to Boner Garage, who got abandoned by his team and was forced to play solo tonight. Not too shabby! We’ll be back next week, hopefully with a full Boner Garage and some serious payback to hand out! Guido’s – Frederick, MD
I had a pretty busy night at Guido’s Speakeasy for live trivia tonight! It had to have been the most teams I’ve ever had since I took over hosting duties (ha. duty.) here at Guido’s! Teams were fighting the whole way through the game and it looked like the top spots were locked up, and then the final question happened and changed EVERYthing around!! Dropping to 3rd was Stink Floyd! Moving up to 2nd was Mauled by Bears! Moving up to 1st and winning this weeks game after the final was 3 People Who Have Never Been in My Kitchen!! They chose “Evil Dead: The Musical” for next weeks winner’s choice category, so study up and I hope all the teams that made it out tonight will be back next Thursday night at Guido’s!!! ~ Jon J
Main Street Oyster House -Bel Air, MD
So some nights of live trivia are more entertaining than others, and tonight topped the list. Oh my do you know how to do it out there in Bel Air! I’ll tell you what else you all can do: Win! Had some great teams tonight, and the final threw some flip flops. Malakas (Or Muwaffles) fell to third on the final after a great game, they couldn’t hold against Clever Team Name though; they sewed second up tight tonight being the only team to get the final. Icarus took it down tonight however! They took the lead and never paused until the final, but it was intelligent wagering which saved the day for them and they took the win tonight! Nice job guys, can’t wait to see what you do with next weeks first category of Jaws: The Movie. Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the parking lot. I’m going to go see if they paved my car in. Have a good week! ~Samantha
Quincy’s – Gaithersburg, Maryland
Lowered Expectations was hoping to make it three in a row at Qunicy’s last night, but even with the lead going into the final question, they were unable to seal the deal, and so it was I Just Quizzed My Pants who took home their first win of the season. Not As Smart As We Look took second, with Blue Collar in third. Next week begins with a question on the Marine Corps Marathon!
