A snowy weekend of Pour House Pub Trivia!
Pour House pub trivia‘s weekend was a snowy affair!
I don’t know about you folks, but I’ve been jonesing for a nice big burst of the white stuff, and this scratched my itch, so now we can get on to spring.
We had two awesome games of live trivia this weekend, so read on to see the breakdown!
Belles’ Sports Bar – Frederick, MD
Our little snowstorm held us back from live trivia at Belles’, but our first category for next week is Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire” Lyrics!

Captain Bender’s – Sharpsburg, MD
We had another awesome night of pub trivia at Captain Bender’s!!
It warmed up enough to melt some snow, so our teams came to win with a little SPRING in their step!!
In third place, we had No Torie Us (I remain eternally flattered), who taught me it’s pronounced AM-ER-ICK-EE-UM!! (Only took me three tries!) In second place just ahead of them was Rice Rice Baby!! Another amazingly creative team name!! But our grand champs and team-to beat was Fisted Sister!!
Their choice of first category: My Favorite Civil War General! See you next Sunday!!

Avery’s Maryland Grille – Frederick, MD
Last night was our busiest night ever at Avery’s Maryland Grille!
A lot of familiar faces made it out for trivia and the competition was fierce! Of course, with so many good teams showing up, a tie-breaker question had to be used to decide our top three teams for the night.
Unfortunately losing the tie-breaker but still winning 3rd place were the Witiots! With a VERY impressive performance with only a 2 person team, finishing 2nd were the Ollie Monsters!! Congratulations to our game winners for the night. They have become some of our new regulars here and this was their first first win: My Trivia Team Works Half-Fast!!
They chose “Vintage Video Games” for next weeks winners choice question, so study up and lets keep the teams coming in like this at Avery’s!!
