Pour House pub trivia wasn’t working at the 5 and dime, but did have quite a bit of great trivia!

Another great game of live trivia here at Belles in Frederick. Who knew that there were TWO songs from 1985 that used the phrase “five and dime” in the opening lyrics? Pretty cool.

Captain Bender’s – Sharpsburg, MD
We had yet another lovely evening of family-style pub trivia at Captain Bender’s in Sharpsburg, tonight! With a notably long song request list and some mic bloopers on my end, I’ve gotta say I had a few good laughs through this game.
After an incredibly close game and a few strategic final wagers, the ranks went a little something like this: taking home the third place prize as a mere duo was the lovely Rice Rice Baby!! Just ahead of them after a ferocious fight to the finish was Crom’s Four Winds!! Riding high at the end of the game, not to be dethroned again, reclaiming their first place status was, of course, the ever vigilant Fisted Sister!!
Their choice of first category for next week: Tombstone. I’ll be on vacation on a beautiful Delaware beach and will be off for the next TWO WEEKS, but there will be trivia!. I figured I’d give you lovelies some time to miss me. Have no fear, you’ll be in good hands, and I’ll be back before you know it. All my love!

Oriole’s Nest #331 – Frederick, MD
It was a second week in a row with a great team turnout for our Sunday night live trivia game at Oriole’s Nest #331!
There was definitely some serious competition going down here with all the lead changes and ties that kept coming up after every round, but after the final, this was our top 3.
Making a nice second half comeback to finish 3rd was We’ve Embraced Our Mediocrity! In 2nd tonight was a visiting team that had a great game, the Smarty Pants!! Tonight’s 1st place champs have been waiting awhile to be king of the mountain again, and it was nice to see the Ollie Monsters do it!!
I’m sure everyone is SUPER excited for next weeks winners choice category of Federal Acquisition Regulations, so study up and come have some fun with us next Sunday at the Oriole’s Nest #331!!!
